"Owning our STORY and loving OURSELVES through that process is the BRAVEST thing that we will ever do."

Individual Therapy

The most familiar type of therapy, individual therapy occurs on a one-on-one, face-to-face basis. Individual sessions provide a safe space and confidential relationship to explore concerns as well as create opportunities for personal growth. Athlete Insight offers both traditional "talk" therapy as well as EMDR services.

Sport Psychology/Performance Enhancement

Similar to more traditional therapy, sport psychology work occurs on a one-on-one, face-to-face basis. Individual sessions focus on building skills that allow individuals to thrive in sport and life. Athlete Insight, PC takes a person-first approach: Valuing each athlete as a person first, performer second. Sport psychology skill-building is designed to create a "toolbox" of skills for athletes to utilize when pressure is high and performance matters most.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is less familiar to most individuals; however, it is equally as powerful as individual therapy. Group therapy provides an opportunity to receive support as well as reflect on interpersonal dynamics that may interfere with relationships and overall life satisfaction.

Exercise (re)Defined Experiential Group: Built upon the core concepts of values, mindfulness, and empowerment, this group strives to promote mindful and intuitive exercise practices through experiential learning and group processing. The six-week curriculum educates individuals on the core components of fitness: Cardiorespiratory, stability, resistance, flexibility, and power training.

Supervision

Supervision is available to masters, doctoral, and post-doctoral candidates on an individual basis.

Team Building

Team building is designed for sports teams seeking to take their performance to the next level. Working with a group as a whole allows Athlete Insight to build confidence among the team through cohesion and communication oriented activities as well as enhances mental strength through mental skill building among the entire team.
